Dear Hart
I have had a model Miss Charlotte Hicks this winter who has been for some months rehearsing in the chorus and she is now very sick and I think dying. I went to see her yesterday when I heard of her condition and she asked me if I knew you and would I write to you asking you to come and see her
It seems to me that she cannot live and this is my only excuse in writing to you and doing as she [[whished ?]] and she wants to see you much. She is at 37 West 39th Street
