I am sorry you are still invalid and under conditions of terrible heat and the pests of flies Recovery is of course hindered -- If cold weather comes the flies will abate but something may be done to abate them if they trouble you [[underline]]in[[/underline]]doors.  perhaps I can suggest help for you if you tell me how they are most irritating.

The Kneeland items are wholely at your service, and while thanking you for suggestions as to them will delay for the present as I am going to N. Jersey tomorrow & will be there off & on for two or three weeks.  When I get back I will make enquiries about Kneeland hoping further information.

Of the whereabouts of J. Bogle's portraits of Clay & Calhoun I am not aware.  Have you looked for these in the N A D Cats- Nor do I know of Linen's portraits of Clay and Webster.  I lived a
