   I was delighted to find at the Century your kind note and the beautiful "Ariadne" as a work of art and "a Memento of good old times" I shall cherish it most lovingly what a superb engraving it really is!
   The date of its publication when I was only "a four year old" makes me realize what a long and splendid artistic career your [[?]] father has had
   May happiness always attend him
