The dining room has so much silver Sheffield plate that it almost puts Gumps collection to shame; their fernery alone is larger than those of many city botanical gardens; and last but not least, the jewelry worn by the two ladies was worthy of note. The furnishings of the house are all quite victorian, yet there is no mistaking the air of wealth. We played bridge as the two ladies seem very fond of the game.
