[[preprinted]] 66 [[/preprinted]] Antigua 56 forgot to bring me my stamps she said she would mail them to me in St Kitts. Dick was late to tea as he had been packing the motor. We spent the evening talking etc. [[margin]] Tues Sept 29 [[/margin]] Up fairly early to do more packing. Supposed to leave early but the ship is late as it had a big trans-shipped cargo of pipe line for Antigua. Dick spent a busy morning, but I took it pretty easy. It rained quite hard, but by 12:30 when we left the Jetty it was clearing off. Addie went down to the jetty with us to see us off. We got aboard in time for lunch, which we enjoyed in spite of the fact that we had the waiter we do not like. [[underlined]] Montserrat [[/underlined]] A little after tea the Nerissa got into Plymouth. As I saw Lena Howes coming aboard I went down to have a chat with her. I also met Ella Lidiott - whom Addie often spoke of - and found her very different from what I expected. I wrote some letters and then mailed them with Susan B. Anthony stamps on them. Mr Phillips the Harbour Master was very helpful, and when we got to the customs he introduced us to Mr Waldwin - I wonder if he is any relation to Daphne Waldwin in Antigua - who is customs inspector. We were passed through the customs with no ado. The we just walked across the street to the Seaside Hotel. Mrs MacDonald was up and altho' not expecting us, she had a nice double room ready.
