Danish documents for the govt. They have only been in St Thomas a few months. 
Miss Reynolds and her 2 dogs are still up and about, and she is much the same as she was last year. 
Mr Taylor told us that Mr Davis from St John's has been doing art work in tiles and paintings which he now sells in Puerto Rico. I must try to see some of them if I can. 
We left Taylors 1829 about 9 o'clock and got to the Mary some time before sailing. We also received our papers for customs declaration.

We arrived in San Juan about 8 A.M. and passed thru' the customs with little or no ado, except that we had to open each piece of luggage. As soon as that was over we went to town & had breakfast at the Aquarium. After breakfast we went to the Olimpo court to get a room. We found things changed a little. There is an apartment house at the rear of the Olimpo Court and a Tavern where the furniture repair shop of Mr Axtmeyers used to be. The Tavern is very handy. 
Next we went to Baileys Motor Service to see about the motor, and I met Mrs Bailey. We were much shocked and slightly discomfited to hear that Mr Bailey died a few weeks previously. He was operated on for gall stones and seemed to survive that, but the operation was too much of a strain on his heart and he died a few days later. Mrs Bailey is a fine looking woman and is just as nice as she is good looking.
