A plumber by name of Alexander here, measuring.  Back later - figured $120.00 for job.  Letter from Paul - they think it's Harold Nester trying to buy Block.  Arthur & I out in row boat for first time - he likes.  I did wash in nice rain water.

In A.M. Arthur wrote to Stieglitz & O'K. Letters from O'Keeffe, (with 2nd Phillips check) & Mary - telling us Scoop had cut arm, had to have 4 stitches.  Both clearing out room for plumbers.  Mr. Murphy here - got the job - being $20.00 under Mr. Alexander.  Water into house, toilet, & spigot to cost $100.00.  Bill & Marian here in P.M. & to supper of soup.
