Nice clear day.

Both to Huntington - To Bank.  To see Herb Roselle - glad to see him after 5 years.  In P.M. I made charcoal drawing of eel pots, row boat, etc.  Arthur to Huntington again, bought a door knocker - to make people know "It's a private house."  Barbara got hit by a stone.  Postcards from Bart Perry & Marian.

Terrific rain during night.  We each thought we were awake - other slept - probably 50-50.  Any way late in A.M. to start out - Both rowed to P.O.  Letter from Mary, little Torrs to visit them week of 24 to 31, Mother coming ^[[Lynbrook]] 29 - August.  * Arthur made good crayon drawing of old P.O. on causeway
