Men here from Gas & Electric Co. at 11.45 A.M. had gas pipe under road & in house by 3 P.M.  Arthur made several trips to Northport - The last big job for the moment on post office house.

Rain -

Arthur to Northport to notify them gas stove ready, etc.  We lopped off part of our Cardinal Hay's bed, making it longer.  Both to Farm & Fireside in afternoon - *Note from Stieglitz with Oct. check from Mr Phillips   I wrote to Mary & Mother.
