Weather mild and thawing. Remained here all day.
Dec. 29. Sent Goodbody & Co my check for $20000 and notified Celine to that effect.  Went to Golden afternoon till evening.  [[red underline]] Visited President Alderson and Mrs. Alderson [[/red underline]] with George. Mr. Finney invited George and myself to try his homemade beer from malt extract and hops which was very good.
Dec 30. Mr. [[red underline]] Brunton [[/red underline]] took George and me [[strikethrough]] for [[/strikethrough]] in his motor car, sightseeing Denver and environs, lunch at Denver Club then visit to Radium laboratories and finally to Golden. Beautiful sunny mild weather.
Dec 31 George here this afternoon  A further talk about personal matters.  Wanted to give him an ad-

Gave him $150.00 check for his new electric washing machine just purchased which seems [[strikethrough]] to be [[/strikethrough]] to be a good new years present for Tiss. Jan 1. 1921.  Mr. Brunton came to hotel to invite George for annual dinner of mining men in Denver.  George, Cornelia and I had dinner together and I had purchased 2 tickets for them for matinee at theater.
