April 10 (Sunday) Wrote out State [[underlined in red]] Income [[/underlined in red]] tax returns. Mrs. [[underlined in red]] Morris Loeb visited [[/underlined in red]] this afternoon.
April 11. [[underlined in red]] Miss Evans finds [[/underlined in red]] it more difficult to come regularly so made arrangement whereby she [[underlined in red]] comes 3 mornings each [[/underlined in red]] week Lots [[underlined in red]] of more bother in sight without competent clerical [[/underlined in red]]

Jim and his helper took [[underlined in red]] boat [[/underlined in red]] shed down during the morning while I went to R & H. office where I had  a long talk with [[underlined in red]] Frankel and Schleussner [[/underlined in red]] (Hamman away) on the subject of arranging the bookkeeping and billing [[strikethrough]] so that [[/strikethrough]] for Dept F. from our Perth Amboy office. And some [[underlined in red]] trouble  convincing Frankel but after [[/underlined in red]] he understood me he agreed, so did [[underlined in red]] Schleussner. [[/underlined in red]] Worked till late on Ion. Beautiful weather. Stack & tabernacles erected
April 13 [[strikethrough]] afternoon [[/strikethrough]] [[underlined in red]] Worked on Ion, [[/underlined in red]] building awning. Afternoon at 3:30 P.M. met [[underlined in red]] Leopold DeMuth [[/underlined in red]] with May & Swan, talked over transparent situation, [[underlined in red]] foreign competition price cutting etc. All very friendly De Mutt says his  business is losing [[/underlined in red]]
