In office again except to a meeting in Sec's office of Agricultural Program board.  Home in evening

Feb 1, 1939
At office all morning but up to 3.30PM.  Caught train to Philadelphia where I talked to 900 sportsmen about our Duck Program.  Dinner of Penn. State Fish & Game Assoc, the oldest in the country.  Out with Arnold Nicholson & had a nice visit with him.

Feb 2, 1939
Back to Philadelphia visit office of Country Gentleman where they asked for the story of land use for refuges.  Took 11.30 train to N.Y. where I saw Ray Holland, Bill Finley and others.  Dinner with Guy & C.J. and also to a show.  Took midnight train to Boston.

Feb 3, 1939
Arrived Boston and to Statten Hotel, attending meetings & conversing to others all day.  Went to dinner in evening and talked as toastmaster.

Feb 4, 1939
Spoke again to big meeting on Duck program.  Had a hectic day.  Group in room from Burian[[?]] trying to give them the story of the Biological Survey.  Spent the
