Feb 10, 1939
party.  It broke up at one and was the liveliest & at the same time the most orderly Bureau party I've ever attended.

Feb 11, 1939
Carl & Marjory came at 8.00 we had breakfast ready & the packing done by that time though a sleep from 2 to 6.30 didn't help much.  Drove to Detroit with them arriving at 2.00AM Sunday morning.

Feb 12, 1939.
Clara & I both went to sleep in a hurry and didn't waken until 10.00AM.  Went downstairs about noon & had one meal which served for both breakfast & lunch.  After that I conferred and worked until 2.00AM.

Feb 13, 1939.
Down to 8.00AM breakfast and busy all day listening to peoples troubles.  Went to meeting of Wild Life Society and also B assn.  To bed at 1.00AM.

Feb 14, 1939.
Made my talk and had a good audience.  Juan Zinson failed to show up and I took up some of his time.  Visited the rest of the day and really was kept on the jump.  Had a meeting of the Survey group for an hour.  Banquet later & got to bed at 1.20PM.
