19/4/24. Saturday. Lovely warm, sunny day but detained in museum by visit of Board of Visitors till* 1 p.m. Afterwards to [[underlined]] Glenasmole, Du. [[/underlined]] but somewhat windy & cloudy by that time.
[[underlined]] Andrena albicans [[/underlined]] [[2 male symbols]] in dozens flying round willow tree on river bank near entrance to Waterworks.
[[underlined]] Vespa [[/underlined]] sp. (? [[underlined]] rufa [[/underlined]]) [[female symbol]] seen at Brandy's on gooseberry flowers.
[[underlined]] Halictus freygessneri [[/underlined]] [[2 female symbols]] seen at several places on slips opposite Brady's.
