Co Clare Trip.

[[underlined]] Monday 30th June [[/underlined]], 1924. Left Dublin 8.30 AM. after wet morning: very sunny with NW wind. 
Stopped for lunch 2 miles S. of Roscrea, (o [[Tippy.?]]) but though sunny no Hymenoptera seen on roadside. 
Stopped for tea in wood on bog beside Doon L. W. of Broadford, Co. Clare & though very hot sun & millions of flies no Hymenoptera seen.

[[underlined]] Tuesday 1st. July [[/underlined]], 1924. Beautiful sunny morning; turning dull & windy; afterwards a great storm of wind & rain from SW. which lasted all night. Lahinch dunes morning 
One bee seen on sand dunes which may have been a [[female symbol]] [[underlined]] Andrena sericea [[/underlined]].
[[underlined]] Bombus lucorum [[/underlined]] [[2 female symbols]] & [[2 virgin female symbols]].
