Wet misty rain. All day till about 4 p.m. Afterwards showers & some feeble sun bursts.
Went up to glen below Glenville Ho. & back down stream to ry: little doing.
[[underlined]] Andrena [[/underlined]] sp. [[female symbol]] on [[underlined]] Angelica [[/underlined]] on ry. at 6 p.m. with grey hairs all over thorax & propodeum & with black hind tibia: blown away by wind.
This was the only aculeata seen, except [[2 virgin female symbols]] of [[underline]] Vespa rufa [[/underlined]] (round oak-trees as usual).
