[[underlined]] Bombus lucorum [[underlined]] & [[underlined]] terrestris [[/underlined]] seen on Willows (but no [[underlined]] Andrena [[/underlined]]) which were in full flower along river! Went to Wicklow to look for "rooms" and so had not much time for collecting. [[underlined]] Ballyhenry Quarry. [[/underlined]] 10-30 AM. Evidently too early in day. Midday 1 - 2:30 p.m. Sand-dunes and river bank, [[insertion]] - Took specimen of Hemipteron, [[underlined]] Ischnodemus sabuleti [[/underlined]] Fall New to Ireland fide J. N. Halbert 27.2.26 ! No other hymenoptera seen on sands - much too early a date! [[line across page]] Easter Sunday 12th April 1925. Morning: hot sun: 10-30 AM. S-East side Scalp along margin of wood (on Co. Dublin side of boundary!) [[underline]] Andrena gwynana [[/underlined]] [[male symbol]] spring brood at Gorse. [[underlined]] Nomada fabriciana [[/underlined]] [[male symbol]] on Taranacum [[checkmark]] NB. Good ground & worth working later in year!
