Among the many plays directed by Miss Carroll in the United States and in Europe are: [[italics]] Lost in the Stars, [[/italics]] for the San Francisco Opera; [[italics]] Your Arms Too Short to Box With God [[/italics]] and [[italics]] Black Nativity [[/italics]] for the Spoleto Festival of Two Worlds in Italy; [[italics]] The Ups and Downs of Theophilus Maitland; All The King's Men: Croesus and the Witch; Step Lively Boy; Bury The Dead; Moon on a Rainbow Shawl; Alice; The Lottery; Slow Dance on the Killing Ground; The Prodigal Son; The Disenchanted; Ondine; [[/italics]] and [[italics]] Dark of the Moon. [[/italics]] Before devoting most of her time to directing and lecturing, Miss Carroll appeared on the Broadway and London stage. Her film appearances include: [[italics]] One Potato, Two Potato; Up the Down Staircase; Alice's Restaurant; [[/italics]] and [[italics]] The Reivers. [[/italics]] Her television appearances include "We The Women;" "Sojourner;" "All in the Family;" "Skyline" and numerous talk shows. Miss Carroll has received three Tony nominations, an Obie, an Emmy, the NAACP Image Award, the Los Angeles Drama Critics' Circle Award, the Harold Jackman Memorial Award, the Frank Silvera Writers Award, Ebony Magazine's Black Achievement Award, the Golden Circle Award, and she has been inducted into the Black Film Makers Hall of Fame. Miss Carroll was a clinical psychologist prior to her commitment to the theatre.

ALEX BRADFORD [[italics]] (Music and Lyrics) [[/italics]] won an Obie Award and a Tony nomination for his performance in the original production of [[italics]] Don't Bother Me, I Can't Cope. [[/italics]] He was the composer and leading performer in [[italics]] Black Nativity [[/italics]] on Broadway, in Europe and Australia, and he performed in New York in [[italics]] Dark of the Moon, Bury the Dead, [[/italics]] and [[italics]] Black Alice.
