ching at lower intensities than Hrr. M sometimes performs gaping & (?) after performing only a little and not very vigorous Tsh's & preening; while Hrr always "has" to perform a lot of very vigorous Tsh's & preening before he will gape & (?).
When I first started to utter "ooooooooo" sounds tonight, M uttered 2 bursts of DN2's in the middle of Tsh-ing- (?) on April 17th. Hrr as usual remained quite silent throughout.
It may be significant that we couldn't get M to perform any TVC's tonight, and never got more than a weak TVC out of Hrr. As both the TVC reactions and the Tsh-preen-gape & (?) reactions were weaker tonight than on April 17th, it is possible that the two types of reactions are apparently never actually combined with one another, it is obvious that any correlation between them must be indirect and/or partial.

M & Hrr were put in an outside cage 5 days ago. They seem to be flourishing there, but their behavior has remained much the same as before.
M now shows a definite tendency to utter DN's (still (?)DN2's) as "greeting" when I first approach the cage and talk to the birds. Hrr always remains silent in such circumstances.
This afternoon, however, I let M out and walked around with her (she still follows well) some distance away from the cage in which Hrr remained. Then, after 5 or 10 min-
utes, when I went back to the cage and talked to Hrr, she uttered a burst of 4 or 5 DN's -
