The collection is of considerable importance in as much as most of the species are new to the museum, even a great number of interesting generic Types being added to it (Exchange); 22 specimens, 21 species, from Southern and Western Africa, nearly all new to the collection among which no less than three different species of Hornbills [[strikethrough]](Exchange)[[/strikethrough]].
