Price Commissioner of Indian Affairs Sir: Several Omaha Indians have married into other Tribes and at the present time are living with the Tribe into which they have married. After consultation with the Agent, I would ask the Hon. Commissioner to confirm the following to be the rule of action regarding such Indians. Any Omaha Indian having married into another Tribe & making his or her home with that Tribe, and not at the present time living on the Omaha Reservation, shall be considered to have left the Omaha Tribe and not entitled to an allotment on the Omaha Land.
