HORSEMANSHIP—....PROPER POSTURE

Straight Arrow handles Fury with the left hand, leaving the right hand free for other things.

Straight Arrow's head, shoulders, elbows, buttock and heel tips form a vertical line.

While galloping, Straight Arrow watches Fury's shoulders..when they reach forward Straight Arrow exerts extra pressure DOWN in the stirrups and then releases this pressure as Fury's shoulders come back.

When Fury is trotting, Straight Arrow pushes [[underlined]] down [[/underlined]] in the stirrups each time Fury's right shoulder goes forward

Heels down, toes in, and the balls of his feet firmly centered in the stirrups are most important to help Straight Arrow clearly signal and handle Fury.
