AERIAL BIRD-DINER

Straight Arrow warns: Never place feed for birds on the ground or in any place where they are vulnerable to attack from their natural enemies.

PULLEY

When very hungry birds find food, they relax their vigilance.

For safe feeding, Straight Arrow recommends the use of his AERIAL BIRD-DINER

STRONG ROPE (Not too heavy)

ATTACH OTHER END OF THE ROPE HERE.

Build you AERIAL BIRD-DINER FROM WOOD.

FEED TROUGH for bread crumbs, grain, seeds, etc.

Cup of water, especially for dry weather.

Build a wire basket on each end of your diner for chunks of suet (use small mesh chicken wire).

Attach your AERIAL BIRD-DINER to a pulley line between two high points. One pulley may be secured to your home, outside your window, and the other to a nearby tree or building. When stocked, the diner is suspended in mid-air, with the birds safe from attack.

For reloading, draw in.

AT LEAST 10 FEET

The diner is safe in mid-position. to keep it there, tie the ropes together at a pulley with string.
