140 wear the flowers, which of course I did. We had planned to ride on Tuesday but of course I could not, so I wrote & thanked him for the flowers and on Wednesday, no Thursday [[strikethrough]] I think [[/strikethrough]] he sent me some more flowers and a letter. Friday he came to see me but I was still in bed. I hope to-day, oh I do hope I can see him. Nov. 19th 1894. Sunday afternoon Netta came and stayed and we had a lovely talk. Mo [[end page]] [[start page]] 141 wanted to know if he could come the next day so I said "Yes at four". He came of course & told me lots of things and I was a great deal too glad to see him. I wish I knew how glad he was to see me. But it does not matter. I will not see him at least until Monday next as we both go away Thursday, he to New Haven, I to Concord. I am glad I am going to see something of other people soon. I don't think it good to see too much only of one person. What ever you may say to the contrary, it is dangerous. Foolish!
