wear the flowers, which of course I did.

We had planned to ride on Tuesday but of course I could not, so I wrote & thanked him for the flowers and on Wednesday, no Thursday [[strikethrough]] I think [[/strikethrough]] he sent me some more flowers and a letter.  Friday he came to see me but I was still in bed.  I hope to-day, oh I do hope I can see him.

wanted to know if he could come the next day so I said "Yes at four".

He came of course & told me lots of things and I was a great deal too glad to see him.  I wish I knew how glad he was to see me.  But it does not matter.  I will not see him at least until Monday next as we both go away Thursday, he to New Haven, I to Concord.  I am glad I am going to see something of other people soon.  I don't think it good to see too much only of one person.  What ever you may say to the contrary, it is dangerous.  Foolish!
