The rain stopped somewhere about Philadelphia. I hope it ceased with you, too. But the clouds are low and threatening. A big excursion came up to go up on the Fall Rim boat which leaves a half hour earlier than this boat, but they held up the boat, and it steamed off behind ours.

I noticed a sign on the bulletin board about buses from Providence to Brockton, leaving at 7 A.M. Whether that is still in effect, I don't know, but I may be able to get one, (round trip $1.75). There seems to be a regular schedule. Purser says bus leaves from wharf at 7:15 A.M.

The cat is stretched her length... I suppose it seems good to stretch. I gave her a bit of meat but she isn't hungry or thirsty, which is just as well, considering .

7 A.M. Bus for Brockton due in a minute - good night; easy connections at boat, and am getting a round trip ticket on 'bus connecting with boat from Brockton back. This is really the easiest way home.

Hope you have had a good trip.
