Dearest Mom & Uncle,
It was wonderful to hear your voices again. I thought I'd surprise [[strikethrough]] d [[/strikethrough]] you if I call today, which is Chinese New Year for you.
The news that you're coming is the best one I've had for a long time. I can't wait to see you again. It's been 4 months since I last saw you.
My Easter vacation begins on March 25 & ends April 1. Exactly 1 week. Try to come a few days before Easter vac. begins so you can get settled. If you can make it [[strikethrough]] by Friday [[/strikethrough]] the week before, that'd be wonderful. Maybe S. Marion will let me stay with you that weekend. It really doesn't matter as long as I can see you folks.
Uncle, I shall inquire about your driver's license as soon as possible before your arrival. Mom, I got your powder a long time ago. But still don't have the Geritol pills. Should I wait until you come or do you want me to send them by air?
I still haven't received [[strikethrough]] the [[/strikethrough]] your most recent letter. It may have been delayed by the post office.

Transcription Notes:
Geritol pills were for iron, I believe.
