Vicksburg, Miss., March 25th 1868.

Mr. H.E. O.Reilly
Successor to R. A. Florey
Claim Agent, Vicksburg, Miss

Sir,
I have been represented to this office that there is reason to believe that R. A. Florey dec. late Claim Agt. at Vicksburg received in July 1867 the amount of Bounty money &c amounting to $511.76 due Adam Booker late of "A" C, 53d. U.S.C.I. (Since deceased) and that he failed or refused to account for the same to Booker's widow upon her application for he money.

I am directed by the Asst. Commisioner to request that you furnish this office without delay, all the information you can attain relating to this matter, either from the books of said R. L. Florey or from his brother A. T. Florey now a resident of this city or from any other source.-

Very respectfully
