I have the honor to state I have not received the forms 2-11 as said to be enclosed in your letter of Oct 7".

I have the honor to request that I may be allowed to purchase wood at the rate of eight dollars per cord the price here, also that I may be [[strikethrough]] allow [[/strikethrough]] allowed the usual allowance of lights to the Sub Ass't Commissioners rank of 1st Lt or Capt. as I am obliged to work from 9 to 11 each night, and have three nights untill 1 to 2, A.M. owing to the presure of business at this office.

I have received no vouchers, and have ruled my vouchers, and abstract which please find enclosed, and please forward the amount as soon as possible as my bills are due, and I have had no money since coming here therefore am in great need, I would have sent in my vouchers before but for the presure of important business. I have the honor to request the following stationary be forwarded immediately as I am entirely out, and have bought some - viz - 1/2 ream letter paper - 1/2 ream foolscap paper - 100 large & 200 small envelopes, 12 quills or 50 pens
