Dear Folks,
As it is raining and I have no one cent stamps
for a letter, I will write just this for now. I hope that you are getting the benefit of the rain too. Your letters were forwarded to me in Hanover. I went Wed. and came back last Sun. 11 days later. Now I am tryng to get into harness again, but am upset as usual after a trip. I think my eyes may need new glasses.
Has Doris and family arrived yet? I thought they might try to get away in order to avoid the bonus riots. I hope they were not affected physically by any of them. They could hardly help being affected otherwise though.
How are you and Mr Holmes now? Are you getting out of doors and getting a good tan? I did while in H. We had some beautiful drives. Will write letter soon.
   Love, Lena
