Dear Folks
We are still having cold weather over the weekend but very sunny days no snow to speak of thanks be. Alice has just called up to let me know how she is getting along. her arm is out of the sling & now she is suffering & trying to get the muscles into play, which she says [[strikethrough]] it [[/strikethrough]] is very painful the circulation is going throug now, it has been strapped down very tight now the change she notices. lucky it was her left arm. I hope your strained arm is better such things come upon through our lives to teach us perhaps to appreciate our mercies. it is a good feeling to know we are getting better. I am writing this letter to day because Mrs Barry is going down to the church to practice singing tonight for Sunday & will take it to the post office to to mail. Old Sourcrout wont take my letters. so as I am not able to walk down to the box. you may not get them as prompt as common. Mrs Barry is going to use some soaft soap in a letter, to him & between us we are going to put in. 50 as a new years present & see how that will work with him. her idea if it dont work she says we will go to head.
