I am going to finish this letter up for its so pleasant Charleys folks may ride over here to see us. Gladys came last week but Charley & his wife havn't been here for an age, they never come to stay for dinner.

The little dog over accross the way is very active I dont think so much of him. you cant trust him he came into our back room the other day & grabbed a big piece of corned beef off the table she set there to cool before putting it into the refrigerator & snaked it out on the porch and I happened in just then to take it away. he also flies at the paper boy on his bicycle & about throws him off his wheel & then chases him down the street he is always looking for things to chase.

We have just been to dinner a piece of fresh pork, baked potatoes, asparagus & butterscotch pudding we hadn't had any meat before for an age lived on chowders & soups (canned goods).

I sit out on the porch for a little change when its warm enough. to day it is almost too windy I guess. The Porchogese woman who takes care of the children she is sister to Mrs Silver across the street comes over to talk some times this is a Catholic neighborhood most of the women go to movies & parties these days. we used to take in work when I first lived here.

guess I will now go down stairs. Ma

Thers not much to write about these days.
