If you will believe it the rain is coming down again a cloud has just come from the west & its raining good I hope Laura & Mrs Barry will come home & not get wet. Laura has got into the hen business again she brought me a dozen of eggs today nice large brown ones.

We heard that Maude had broken an arm the Sopers told us yesterday when she went down to pay my electric lights & telephone bill & paid Lindeloph for fixing up the Drake water bill. Doris Soper is still in bed but guess she is getting along some. the trouble he should have sent for the doctor to clean up her injury before he did up the leg that was injured. as it was it must have cost them double. for they had to have two doctors instead of one to clean up for blood poison set in. I pity Georgie their mother but the other two dont know much & are a darn nuisance.

Norma Lainey is sick going to have another baby in September after six years. she went crazy but guess she came to her senses at last well this is all I can think of for this time

I am sending along Doris letter.
Love Ma
