Sir I write you this because you are the agent of the Beauro of Freedmen, Refugees & A. L. for this State __ for information respecting a freed woman who is entirely blind, and unable to provide for herself.  Said woman is one of a family of four that formerly belonged to me, consisting of her mother about 50 years of age, partially disabled for ordinary labour, by Rheumatism when young; and a brother 19 years old, who is stout and healthy; and a sister 16 years old also stout and healthy, this blind woman is 23 or 24 years old. 
The family are scatered round each working for themselves, and
