At Christiansburg a small room is rented & the rent paid by the Bureau used both as church & school room, the room is capable of accommodating but five scholars being only 12ft by 14 but, teacher boarded & paid by northern charitable associations, and owned by a private individual, it is very doubtful whether it can be re-rented or not it is however too small but was the last that could be obtained, there is an unoccupied school house owned by Freedmen in the county town of Newboro, Va, about 15 by 30 feet cannot be used cannot be used for any purpose until repaired.  There is a log School in town at neck break Pulaski County built and owned by Freedmen, about 14 by 20 feet, used for religious meetings. No school as yet having been established. - 

The amount of rent paid for building at [[?]] Va is (12) twelve dollars per month and the amount paid for the room at Christiansburg, Va is (6) six dollars per month.
