Sir - I have the honor to make the following report in compliance with instructions of circular no. 7. dated nov. 18th 1867. Sunday School at Snowville Pulaski Co. 3 teachers (white) and 15 Scholars (colored) when opened unknown. Day School 4 miles South of Pearisburg Giles County. taught by Hannah Jane Wagner (Col^d) numbers 12 Scholars (col^d) Opened March 1st 1868. Day School No. 1 Salem, Roanoke Co. taught - by Wm Randolph (Col^d) Numbers 38 pupils (col^d), date of commencement unknown. Also Sunday School, numbers 8 teachers and 62 Scholars (all col^d). Day School No. 2, Salem Roanoke Co. taught - by Chap. Lewis (col^d) numbers 60 Scholars (Col^d) Opened March 16th 1968 - also Sabbath School numbers 6 teachers & 55 Scholars (all col^d). Day School at Jacksonville Floyd Co. taught by Landon Deskins (Col^d) numbers 25 Scholars, opened April 1st 1868.
