Mr. "Manager."

Dear Sir — I have ordered, both, flower and vegetable seed, from W. Atlee Burpee and Co., this month. I order from them because their seed are so reliable, so sure to germinate. All my friends who purchase seed from Burpee and Co., say the same thing about their seed, and plants.

I like the advertisement he has in Successful Farming because it is such a unique and sensible one.

He makes no flourishes but just states the truth, simply, and to the point, asking you to try him, then he stops writing.

I have had seed from other houses named in your paper, but I like Burpee's best.

There are others, still, I should be pleased to patronize, but I can't, just now, not being a "multi-millionairess."

Yours truly
Miss Martha J. Drinkard,
Pamplin, Virginia.
