[[top margin]] Mary Caudert lunch for Kerre & Pat museum [[/top margin]] WED 9 P.M. 1 LILY DARLING I have looked very carefully over Eric & Susie - listened to them and their nurse, listened to them talking alone, observed their movements - and [[strikethrough]] thecke [[/strikethrough]] checked what I have found with Dr Geselles book with Education in a free Society - and last but not least with Margret Meed's book "Keep your Powder dry" —— and I have come to the absolute conclusion that Phusically, Phsichiclogically and Psycologically there is abslutly nothing wrong with them - nothing to worry about - no dampened spirits or anything —— Margret Meads book is as a matter of fact very interesting and you would be interested particularly in the chapter on how we bring up our children etc. etc. Gives you a perspective - we will talke about that more. I just paid a whole lot of bills —— the grocery bill is alarming —— and I hear the Swansons are having the same trouble —— well whatever we can do about it next month without (a) Starving (b) Breaking our necks (c) Harvey Ruth etc. leave would be wise but we can talke about that also —— Doctors bills are still worse. Thank Miss Hoke for sending "Choo Choo" a book arond the world with a train which Eric & I went into [[strikethrough]] se [[/strikethrough]] extensively to-nite —— he is still sceptical about round worlds —— DO NOT FORGET A FIRE ENGINE OF SOME SORT
