Muscari
(Grape, Starch and Feathered Hyacinths)
The 'Muscari' form one of the best and most free-flowering groups of Spring bulbs and is often referred to as the Musk Hyacinth, Grape Hyacinth or Tassel Hyacinth, because of its scent. It is easy to grow in all its forms; being a dwarf habit it is an excellent plant for the rockery, although clumps in the border are also very effective. Should be planted about 3 inches deep and 4 inches apart. Once planted they can be left to grow and multiply. Most varieties are also suitable for forcing in pots in a cool greenhouse and make very desirable indoor plants. Origin Asia Minor.

Grape Hyacinths are growing in your flower pots. They're certainly doing things earlier for you than for us. What did you tell them?
