Dear Mr. Seligman,
Thank you for your letter of March 8, 1962. We have had rather good luck in getting drawings for our exhibition. We have promises for the following Seurats:

Fogg Museum: Figures and hands, 1880
Wildenstein and Co.: The White Horse, 1881 - 84
Mr. David Daniels: The Mother of the Artist, c.1883
Hillman Periodicals, Inc.: House at Honfleur, 1884 - 86
Mr. T. E. Hanley: Woman with Back to Beholder, 1886

The Guggenheim Museum is considering lending its Place de la Concorde.

In view of this number, there would be no justification for asking for one of your drawings despite the fact that we would certainly enjoy having one and it would certainly add to our exhibition. We do appreciate your generous offer. With very best regards,

Sincerely,
Charles Chetham
