Since John King merely called to send me your greetings without discussing anything else, I hope that your meeting went well but I am still somewhat fearful that his commissions to you will replace the commission which was to have been for a public area. You can see my concern.

Now I think you must sit down and write and tell me all about the exhibition with Mathey and also give me the dates of your arrival. There is much to talk over but we will best do that in person.

Love,

P.S. I have had a note from Florence Garnier saying that she has received the book and she will give you the money in francs. $21 worth will do it and keep the francs for me.
