Bureau R.F. & A.L. for the District of Savannah Ga. to which point he will proceed, establish his Head Quarters and enter on his duties with the least practicable delay.

II. Col. H. F. Sickles 144th. Ill. Vol. Infty having been assigned to duty in the Bureau R.F. & A.L. as Act. Sub Asst. Comr. Dist. Savannah Ga. will proceed to Americus Ga. to finish up his business at that point, on the completion of which he will proceed to Savannah Ga. and assume the duties of his office.

Quartermaster's Department will furnish transportation.

III. Jan. 2 S.O. No. 4 C.S. from this office, assigning Capt. H. L. Stone to duty as Act. Sub Asst. Comr. for Dist. of Savannah Ga., is hereby revoked. Capt. Stone will report to Col. H. F. Sickles A. Sub Asst. Comr for Dist. of Savannah Ga. for assignment to duty.

I. Permission is granted to Mr. A. R. Reading or his duly accredited Agent to search the property under the control of the officers and agents of this Bureau in the State of Georgia, and should Mr. Reading or his Agent in his behalf claim any part thereof, it will, on his producing sufficient proof of title to said property, be stored in some safe place by the Officer or Agent of the Bureau in whose possession the property is found, but in no case will the officer or agent of the Bureau deliver up said property without further orders from this office.

I. Capt. W. W. Deane A.A.G. will proceed to Savannah Ga. on urgent and important business connected with this Bureau. On the completion of his duties he will return and report at this office.

II. Surg. J. W. Lawton U. S. Vols. Chief Surgeon Bureau R. F & A. L. for the State of Georgia will proceed to Savannah Ga. and such other points as he may deem necessary for the purpose of inspecting the hospitals pertaining to the Bureau. On the completion of his duties he will return and report at this office.

III. Act. Asst. Surg. Neil D'Avergny U.S.A. is hereby assigned to duty in charge of hospital for Refugees and Freedmen at Atlanta Ga. and will report to Lt. Col. Curkendall Act. Sub Apt. Comr. of the Bureau Dist. of Atlanta and that point. He will make all necessary requisitions for medical and hospital supplies and the necessary reports to this office.
