CAPTAIN DELLA H. RANEY,
Army Nurse Corps, who now heads the nursing staff of the station hospital at Camp Beale, Calif., where only a small percentage of the patients are colored. She was the first nurse to report for duty in the present war. Captain Raney is a former operations room supervisor in the Lincoln Hospital at Durham, N.C.
