F H Lee

Requests possession of his farm near Yorktown, and personal property.

Office Asst Supt Negro Affrs
Yorktown Va May 23 1865

Respectfully referred to Bvt Brig Gen B.C. Ludlow for his action
The Government claims possession of one half of this farm and received last year about thirty bushels corn for rent of it. I have no doubt that property really belongs to Mr Wm Lee of New York who is a loyal man, and I respectfully recommended it be returned over to him with the personal property at once.
