Know all men by these presents, that I Jane Crittenden, of Villa Ridge, County of Pulaski and state of Illinois, here this day, made constituted and appointed J.F. Parker of the same place, to be my true and lawful attorney, for me and in my name and for my sole use, to act for me for the purpose of collecting a certain claim for bounty due me from US Government as the widow of Pleasant Yarber, deceased, late Corporal Co A 4th Regt U.S. Cold. Hevy Artiley who died at Louisville Ky, of Smallpox on or about the 1st of Dec 1865 thereby giving my said attoy and granting into him full power and authority in the previous to use all lawful means for my benifit for the purpose above stated, and generaly to perform all such acts matter and things as may be nesecery to complete the authority hereby given as fuly as I could do more & personaly proceed.
In witness whereof I have hereby set my seal, and subscribe my name, this 2d day of Sept 1874
