New of session started this morning. We get a lunch period from 12.15 - 12.30 instead of eating at home. School lets out at 1.15 for all. I went over to Gerry's and he showed me some swell premiums. We played tennis out on his lawn. He won three sets 6-3, 6-1, 6-0. The lunch period is rotten. Most of us go out doors to buy pies and ice-cream cones. Half the time is gone when you get your bite. We were all out there when a bunch of kids poked their knobs out of the window and said the bell had rung but it hadn't. The whole bunch went running in only to be fooled. Yesterday Gerry had carried his ice-cream cone into class and threw it out of the window and got the dickens for it. Gerry calls Lloyd- "Goody" for two reasons. Around here sometimes you hear "I've got your goat", which means he's got you rattled to do what he wants you to.
