Often double that number with transients that are present including many from Idaho and Wash. That will make as many at 116,000 sheep in Spring Valley that are grazed there at one season of year or another.
Visited Lehman caves about 60 miles [[strikethrough]] south [[/strikethrough]] east of Ely Nevada - a marvelous limestone cavern - a National Monument. Ive never seen such intricate minute designs etc. Took about 2 hours - we traveled about a mile in & a mile back out and were about 125 feet underground at low point. Guide named Rhodes who has developed the cave largely on his own initiative has worked up quite a spiel which is very interesting and he also has picked out certain stalactites on which he plays tunes appropriate to the occasion. It really is much more worth while than other better advertised attractions
