Oct 15, 1936 (cont) Meeting of committee in PM on land acquisition. Tired tonight but worked on official papers until 10:00 PM. quit & went to bed Oct 16, 1936 In office all morning working on routine matters and same in PM. worked until late at night on M.S, for Norman Taylor. Oct 17, 1936 In office in AM. working in garden & lawn in afternoon and to a party at Youngs in evening. Home late & tired Oct 18, 1936 Worked around home all morning-cleaning up yard-spading beds etc. In afternoon for a ride to Mt Vernon. Took train at 11:09 for Pittsburg. To Business meeting in evening Oct 20, 1936 All day at meeting listening to lectures & pictures & visiting Pearson, Dr Stephens and a variety of others. In evening to Museum looking at Goshawks and falcons & seeing Sound pictures Oct 21, 1936 Again at meeting all day and saw Bailey & Bob [[Nerdroels?]] pictures.
