MEMORANDUM
[[/preprinted]]

The work done was partly in readjusting the ethnological material in East and West hall and in assembling material for the Exposition.

In the two halls every case was moved and readjusted. The [[strikethrough]] court [[/strikethrough]] alcove devoted to mortuary customs was dismantled and the objects sent to Mr. Thomas Wilson. This permitted the assignment of space to the beginning of an [[strikethrough]] relic [[/strikethrough]] exhibit of objects connected with the history of religion, a thing I have desired for several years. On the other side of the same hall there was a commencement of a series of projectile weapons.
