Dear Mr Stelfox.

We were glad to hear of your & Mrs Stelfox's safe return & that you received your entomological parcel in the end. It was nice having you here but regretted you had not got me started on the Braconids a long time ago, when I had "Marshall": as I think I should have liked to have had a dip at them in a small way - having already far too many irons in the fire! I am glad you like Dorset & found some useful collecting grounds - I cannot answer for Braconids, but most insects are extremely scanty this year as compared with most seasons. The Tachinids are almost "wanting"! I brought back 112 from Portland on Thursday, but I only got one really nice one - a ♂︎ (which sex I had never seen before - I had only 2♀︎♀︎ in my Tachnid Coll) of Sarcophila latifrons Fall.
